"Sir, about those two kids… does your family plan on raising them for good, or is it just for a few days?"
Unexpectedly, Tao Jiayun spoke up and asked Xu Jinsan.
Xu Jinsan's profile picture in the group chat was a photo of himself, so it wasn't hard for Tao Jiayun to recognize him.
"My family only has one child. From now on, I'll raise those two as my own. No matter what the future holds, as long as I have a bite to eat, I won't let them go hungry!"
Xu Jinsan had an honest face, and coming from him, the words were truly convincing.
"Alright. Since you've put it that way, Sir, the rest of this food is yours. Consider it rations for the two children—our small contribution to helping those two poor kids."
The food was distributed by head count, with people pointing to the group chat profile pictures of their family members.
For children and elderly people without phones, someone at home had to take a picture and send it over as proof.
