Rosalind Lowell bit her lip, thought for a moment, and said, "Just take me home. Don't go back to the office yet."
Sean Shaw agreed and drove her back to the villa.
As soon as Rosalind Lowell got out of the car, she saw Alaric Davenport's car parked there as well.
She gasped, and then saw Alaric Davenport get out of his car.
"Rosalind Lowell, who gave you permission to run off like that?"
Rosalind kept her gaze lowered, not daring to look at him. "Well, who was it that... wouldn't let me in?"
"Didn't I tell you to stay out of it?"
"This has to do with me. How could I not be worried?"
"What about the baby? Aren't you worried? Running off to a place with so many people, and just the other day you jumped out of a car. Do you even want this child?"
Alaric Davenport's voice was cold. It was obvious he was truly furious.
"I'll take responsibility for my own body. Whether I have this baby or not is my choice, and it's none of your business."
