"How about Truth or Dare? It's a classic," Don Lowell suggested.
"We've been playing that game for ages. Can't we switch it up?"
"To what?" Don Lowell asked.
Faye Lowell smiled and said, "We can play a modified version of Truth or Dare."
Everyone looked at her, confused. Her goal of building suspense had been achieved, so she began to explain.
"I have a deck of cards here. We'll pick a few specific cards. The dealer will deal and then call out two of the chosen cards. Whoever has the higher card gets to challenge the person with the lower one."
Faye Lowell paused for a breath. "Also, I have a mini lie detector here. If you're caught lying or you refuse to answer, you have to take a penalty drink. If you give up right away, you drink three. I'll be the first dealer, how about it?"
Rosalind Lowell blinked. 'These strict rules do make it tough,' she thought. 'I wonder if the questions will be tricky.'
"I think that's fine. After all, I don't have too many secrets."
