Rosalind Lowell glanced at Alaric Davenport and said softly, "Okay, let's just arrange the meeting with the director first."
Faye Lowell hadn't seen Rosalind Lowell for several days, so she decided to look for her at the company. Just as she reached the ground floor, she spotted Rosalind's assistant. Faye was about to go over and ask something when she overheard the assistant's conversation.
She didn't approach. Instead, she watched as the assistant made another call. "Hello, Director Crawford? This is Cece, Miss Rosalind Lowell's assistant."
"Ah, yes, hello! I've asked Miss Lowell, and she said she's willing to give it a try. She would like to meet with you, Director. I was wondering when you might have some free time to schedule a meeting?"
"Great, we're flexible. Okay, then let's say Friday at two in the afternoon at The Florian Restaurant. Thank you, Director."
