Suddenly, a large wave surged, and Skylar Morrison lost his grip. Rosalind Lowell was swept off the board and into the sea.
Rosalind Lowell had already choked on a mouthful of seawater by the time Skylar Morrison pulled her back up.
He patted her back. "Are you okay?"
Her eyes red and stinging from the seawater, Rosalind Lowell shook her head. "It's a little uncomfortable, but I'm having a great time."
She tried to climb back onto the surfboard, but as she lunged, the board tipped sideways, and she failed to get on.
"AH!"
Rosalind Lowell cried out, her face contorting in pain as she clung to the surfboard with one hand. "It hurts so much..."
"What's wrong?"
"Something bit me."
Skylar Morrison took a deep breath and dove under to check. He surfaced a moment later. "You were stung by a jellyfish. Let's get you back and have a doctor take a look."
