"Yeah, she's banking on the fact that there's no other evidence and is denying it to the death. If we can't find any, we really can't convict her based on the testimony of those three men alone," Zou Ming said. "However, since she did it, she must have left some clues behind. We didn't focus our attention on her back then. If we investigate thoroughly this time, we should be able to dig something up."
Su Qing nodded, checked the time, and said, "Well, I'll let you get back to it. I'm heading out."
Zou Ming laughed. "You sure have it easy. You're on vacation and you won't even come to the station to put in some hours?"
"Hehe, I'm not an official employee," Su Qing said with a grin. "Besides, I promised my grandma I'd go home and have lunch with her."
"Alright, get out of here. Stop rubbing it in," Zou Ming said, waving at Su Qing with a smile. "I have to go check on the interrogation room anyway."
Su Qing smiled, said goodbye to Zou Ming, and left the police station.
