In the end, Lianne still had lunch with Seth Sinclair.
He held her hand as they walked from the living room to the dining room.
The dining table was laden with exquisite dishes, their aroma tantalizing.
Seth Sinclair released Lianne's hand and, like a gentleman, pulled out her chair, motioning for her to sit.
'This is the only time his gentlemanly act seems real.'
Throughout the meal, Seth Sinclair kept placing food in Lianne's bowl. Lianne looked down at her overflowing bowl and said with a sigh, "Could you please stop putting food in my bowl? I can get it myself. You're giving me way too much."
Seth Sinclair asked, "You don't like it?"
"I don't," Lianne said directly. "Putting one or two things in my bowl occasionally is fine, but when you give me too much, anyone who didn't know better would think I don't have hands and can't serve myself."
'It's not like he's treating a child. It's more like he's taking care of someone with a disability who can't fend for themselves.'
