The evening breeze was pleasant, and the hanging lanterns shone brightly. Row upon row of red lanterns formed ribbons of light, making the lively old street as splendid as a painting. It was bustling yet desolate, clamorous yet serene.
Lianne Lianne and Seth Sinclair walked side by side, their pace slow and leisurely.
She told him about the local delicacies, about a kind old woman who had seen her by herself and specially helped her release a sky lantern, and about the surrounding scenery.
"There's a very famous waterfall nearby, known as 'Forleign's Little Niagara.' The movie *You Are the Apple of My Eye* was filmed there."
