It was unclear what the person on the other end of the line was saying. He could only hear Seth Sinclair offer a few occasional responses, his tone unhurried, his demeanor cool and relaxed.
When the call ended, Liam Shaw stepped forward at the right moment. "Miss Lane took a taxi to Ninefields, Newhaven, by herself."
