The family doctor wrote a prescription and explained the necessary precautions to Seth Sinclair. Once everything was taken care of, Liam Shaw escorted the doctor out.
Only the two of them remained in the vast room. Lianne glanced at Seth Sinclair. Their earlier conversation had clearly upset him, which only aggravated the ache in her stomach.
Lianne pulled the covers over her head. She didn't want to lie to him, but she didn't want to see him, either.
He was making her feel pressured.
