Lianne Lianne took five steps, then stopped. She shook her head, trying to clear her dizzy mind.
She paused for three seconds, turned, and went back.
Not all the living room lights were on, leaving the room dimly lit. Seth Sinclair was leaning back on the sofa with his eyes closed, his long legs crossed and propped up on the coffee table. He was still holding her phone in his well-defined hand.
'When did he even swipe my phone?'
"Give me back my phone," Lianne said.
Seth didn't even open his eyes. His voice was lazy. "How do you know it's your phone?"
Normally, Lianne wouldn't bother proving it, but now she patiently explained, "I know the password, and all the apps logged in have my information."
Seth opened his eyes, pressing his fingers to his temple in a languid pose. "What if you're the one who stole it and logged in?"
Lianne's mind felt sluggish. She didn't want to argue with him and just asked directly, "Can you just give it back to me?"
