In the Mortal Realm, advancement is about refining one's apertures.
In the Saint Realm, advancement is about elevating the Immortal Acupoint.
There are two main ways to elevate an Immortal Acupoint: Swallowing Acupoints and undergoing tribulations.
The method of Swallowing Acupoints is a unique Divine Technique of the Heaven-Devouring Demon Emperor. It is rumored to be linked to one's school's attainments and is filled with profound mysteries.
However, this method has long been lost, making it impossible for outsiders to glimpse its secrets.
Most ordinary Saints rely on undergoing tribulations.
Once the origin of the Immortal Acupoint has been nourished to a certain degree, a heaven and earth tribulation will arise to temper it. Successfully passing this trial allows for advancement.
To advance from the initial stage of Tier Six to Tier Six Peak, one must undergo three earthly calamities and three heavenly tribulations.
