"Prostitution?"
Yu Changxin almost froze on the spot. Fortunately, Pei Ye didn't force her way in, so he still had a chance to argue.
"What prostitution? You must be misunderstanding. The one in the room is my girlfriend..."
Couples could break up, but if the media confirmed that he was tricking women into sex or soliciting prostitutes, his reputation would be dragged through the mud. Yu Changxin had been in the industry for years. No matter how wild he was in private, his public persona was marketed as clean, innocent, and a breath of fresh air in the entertainment circle. Once a public persona collapsed, rebuilding it was nearly impossible.
"Girlfriend?" Pei Ye caught a whiff of the suffocating yin energy and stench of rotting corpses radiating from Yu Changxin, but she maintained a faint smile. "Alright, then please ask your girlfriend to come out. There are some things we need to ask. If you keep stalling, that will be considered obstructing official business."
