Hazel Sterling gave a weak, bitter laugh. "That's true enough. Your father..."
"But earlier, Dad was insisting on canceling this year's music festival so he could come back and take care of you. I was worried you'd be upset if he was here, though, so I coaxed and pleaded with him to go back to Draconia. This is our honeymoon, and no one else is allowed to interrupt, right, Grandma?" Ivy Holden whispered with a smile, close to Hazel Sterling's ear.
Hazel Sterling couldn't help but laugh, chiding her gently. "You silly girl! What honeymoon? You're just saying that to make me happy!"
"Just the two of us! That's what a honeymoon is," Ivy Holden said with a laugh.
