When Ivy Holden arrived in the hotel lobby, she saw Brooke Morrison's secretary, Rachel Young, waiting for her by the entrance.
"Good evening, Miss Holden." Rachel Young came forward and greeted her warmly. "Chairman Morrison asked me to meet you here."
"There's no need to be so formal. It's not like I'm a stranger," Ivy Holden said, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"Chairman Morrison and the young master are waiting for you upstairs. Please, follow me." Secretary Young led Ivy Holden into the elevator and to the Chinese restaurant upstairs.
Ivy Holden was surprised to find the vast restaurant practically empty of customers.
As if reading Ivy's mind, Secretary Young smiled. "Because you and the young master are both public figures, the Chairman was worried about disturbances. That's why this entire floor is closed to the public tonight."
"I see." 'As expected of the Chairman of the Morrison Group,' she thought.
