Ivy Holden bent down, picked up Milly, and strode over.
Although Jensen Morrison was talking with Leo Ziegler, his gaze remained locked on Ivy Holden.
When she was on the phone, he had guessed something was wrong. Seeing her hurry over with Milly in her arms, he waved Leo Ziegler off, cutting their conversation short. He stepped forward to meet her, taking Milly from her arms, and asked, "Did something happen?"
"Shelby Roland and James Zimmers got into a fight. James's face is injured, and Sheldon Spencer has stepped up to sue Shelby on his behalf. I have to go check it out," Ivy Holden explained as concisely as possible.
"I'll go with you," Jensen Morrison said.
"No, you should at least stay for the celebration banquet. I'll go check it out first. If I can't handle it, I'll call you." Shedding that touch of girlish awkwardness, Ivy Holden was back to being the ever-reliable boss.
"Have Diana Dunn go with you, then," Jensen Morrison said.
