"Don't worry. I promise your dad won't hit you." Ivy Holden quietly squeezed the child's hand.
The child hesitated for a moment before finally nodding.
"Bill Holden?" Ivy Holden called out over the crowd.
"I'm here!" Bill Holden had already pushed his way into the crowd.
"Take my car and drive this child and his father home." Ivy Holden stressed the words "my car" as she spoke.
"Got it." Bill Holden understood instantly, giving Ivy Holden a hand signal.
The child finally let go of Ivy Holden's hand. Bill Holden scooped him up and pushed through the crowd.
The man claiming to be the child's father hurried after Bill Holden.
Ivy Holden clapped her hands and called out loudly, "Alright! Let's keep going, everyone! Who was it that wanted to buy roses? Oh, right, where's my QR code? How did my QR code go missing?"
"Over here!" Clementine Chambers picked up the QR code from under the car. "Oh no, it's all dirty!"
