"President Holden, are you in the middle of filming?" A man's voice came through the phone. It wasn't one she recognized, but the moment he spoke, Ivy was instantly wide awake.
She shot up from the bed and frowned. "President... Spencer?" She glanced warily at the camera, then turned and went into the bathroom.
"Sheldon Spencer?" Ivy asked, turning on the faucet.
"You've got sharp ears, Ivy," Sheldon chuckled lightly.
Ivy steadied herself and asked in a cold voice, "What do you want?"
"What, can't a guy call you just because? I missed you. Thought I'd take you out for a meal. So, Miss Holden, will you grace me with your presence?" Sheldon's voice was dripping with nonchalance.
"Get to the point. We don't have the same tastes, so let's skip dinner," Ivy said with a cold laugh.
"What, are you scared of me?" Sheldon taunted.
"Reverse psychology doesn't work on me. Get to the point, and if you don't have one, stop wasting my time. I'm busy." With that, Ivy hung up.
