Ivy Holden quickly held the phone away from her ear, waiting for Clara Zimmers to finish shouting before saying, "I have no idea."
Hazel Sterling snatched the phone and said, "Clara Zimmers, you can't even control your own daughter, and now you're trying to blame someone else? Is Ivy obligated to look after your daughter for you?"
"Who is this?!" Clara Zimmers didn't recognize Hazel Sterling's voice. As they say, ignorance breeds fearlessness. So she just yelled back, "Who the hell are you to meddle in my business? Where's Ivy Holden? Put her on the phone!"
Hazel Sterling sneered. "It seems your life has been far too comfortable!"
"Who are you?!" Clara Zimmers's voice was now a little panicked.
Ivy Holden spoke into the phone, "Auntie, I'm with my grandmother right now. We're about to go eat, so if you have something to say, say it quick."
