Chu Mu nodded slightly. He glanced at the mountain of flesh, then, as if drawn by some unseen force, his gaze slowly drifted until it settled on the mountain range to the Northwest.
He asked, "What mountain is that?"
The man immediately answered, reciting the details as if from memory. "That would be Three Ridge Mountain. It's made up of three parts—Roof Ridge, Water Ridge, and Back Ridge. The range runs from south to north, crossing three different territories..."
Chu Mu asked again, "How many villages like Wujicun Village are in those mountains?"
"Well..."
The man hesitated.
But with all eyes on him, the man finally braced himself and said, "For historical reasons, there are still nearly a hundred thousand people living in these mountains. They're scattered throughout Three Ridge Mountain. As for settlements, large and small... according to our records, there are still over four hundred."
"How can there be so many?"
