Their desperate pleas were either ignored, met with immediate expulsion, or they were simply slain on the spot.
A streak of light flickered in the sky. Just as the Longevity Sect's Guardian disciples grew vigilant, a Token came flying toward them.
The Token appeared ordinary, but when it made contact with the barrier, a gateway materialized in the previously solid blockade.
"We respectfully see you off, Senior!"
The Longevity Disciples, who had been about to move and intercept, immediately bowed in unison.
The Tunneling Light flickered, passed through the newly-formed gateway, and vanished over the horizon in the blink of an eye.
