Unlike a tense Lorna, Isaac wasn't concerned. Countering something isn't that easy, especially with methods related to Magic, which are almost always affected by Magic Resistance.
And neither Witches nor Wizards are weak in that regard.
As for the counter relationship between tentacles and Magical Girls...
