To put it simply—she was rich.
When the army's allocated supplies were scarce, she would pay out of her own pocket to purchase or forge superior weapons and armor to distribute to the soldiers under her command. She also hired merchant caravans to gather supplies specifically for her.
As a result, every soldier in the Sixth Battle Battalion was clad in fine steel Armor and wielded a sharp Longsword. The quality of their equipment was so superb that it even surpassed that of the Iron Wall Battle Group's main force.
Second, as a Necromancer, she could also pay out of her own pocket to purchase all sorts of high-quality corpses from allied forces.
She converted most of those corpses into a Zombie Corps, Skeleton Cavalry, Skeleton Infantry, and Skeleton Archers. There were even a considerable number of Skeleton Mages, as well as a small number of Ghost Units.
