It was common knowledge that a Necromancer owed 99% of their power to their endless Undead Army. If you took away their summons and had a Necromancer engage in a duel of Magic like other Mages... a Warrior of the same tier would be absolutely confident they could crush them.
Besides, Lord Lynch was nowhere near Tier Three.
