Lynch peeked out from behind the Corpse Demon, his voice trembling. "You call that a test? You were telling me to sacrifice a living, breathing companion! That's the kind of shit evil Abyssal Demons do. You're a legendary Moon Priestess, and you test people like *that*?!"
He looked shocked and enraged, as if his entire worldview had just been shattered.
But deep down, he was secretly amused.
'Old witch, oh old witch... You finally couldn't hold back and revealed yourself!'
In truth, Lynch had sensed something was off that night in the backyard when Sea Song returned from inspecting the Teleportation Gate components.
He and Sea Song had spent so much time together, day in and day out, that he was naturally very familiar with the look in her eyes, her general aura, and all her little habits.
