Yu An woke as the early morning sun streamed through the window.
The moment she opened her eyes, she saw two adorable little Zaizai leaning over the edge of the bed, giving her a sweet smile.
"Female Mother, you're awake!"
Yu An sat up and hugged one in each arm. "Yes, yes. Da Hu, Xiao Hu, did you miss your Female Mother?"
"We did," Xiao Hu piped up first. "Female Mother, Xiao Hu missed you so, so much!"
Da Hu was a little more reserved. "Da Hu missed Female Mother, too."
"Female Mother missed you, too," Yu An said, kissing each of them in turn. "Where are your Beast Fathers? And Xiao Yu and the others, didn't they come with you?"
"They all came," Feng Xuan said, pushing the door open. "An'an, they're staying somewhere else."
He told Yu An everything Tian Fu had done, as well as what the Heaven and Earth Stone had revealed. Upon learning that Tian Fu was still alive, Yu An couldn't help but marvel at his resilience.
