The faint smell of roast chicken lingered in the air.
Jun Yao and Ming Ye suddenly whipped their heads around, ready to give chase. Alarmed, Jiang Yunnuan quickly moved to stop them.
"Don't go! The lamb and the skewers are all cooked. If you rush off after them, not only will you probably not get back what was stolen, but we might lose what's left here too."
Whoever could steal so much right under the noses of all four of them without a trace was clearly no ordinary person. Jiang Yunnuan didn't want to invite trouble.
