Li Luo went to the gym, though not really to work out. She was on the treadmill for only a short time before getting off.
"Would you like to try another activity? I can give you an introduction," the robot offered, moving closer to Li Luo and asking with great enthusiasm.
"I don't think today is a good day for a workout," Li Luo said, feigning a sigh.
"Then perhaps some simple stretches..." The robot seemed to be trying to find a way to keep Li Luo in the gym.
"That won't be necessary," Li Luo refused decisively.
"Okay."
Seeing Li Luo's firm attitude, the robot didn't press further. It dejectedly retreated to the side, standing there blankly, just as it had been when they first saw it.
Mo Ling watched the robot, finding it rather peculiar.
Despite its mechanical appearance, its behavior was remarkably human-like, complete with many small mannerisms that only humans had.
