Mya Walsh felt a pang of embarrassment, peeking her head inside. "So... are there any guests?"
She had originally wanted to ask if Aria Sterling was there, but she was afraid Mrs. Wyatt would realize she'd had someone tailing Aria, so she changed her question.
Mrs. Wyatt looked at her with a hint of confusion but quickly shook her head. "No guests."
Seeing that she wasn't going to get a straight answer, Mya Walsh didn't press the issue.
"Then I'll go in and wait for Damian," she said, moving right past Mrs. Wyatt and walking inside.
Mrs. Wyatt's brow furrowed. But since Mya Walsh was a guest, she held her tongue. After closing the door, she went to the kitchen to pour her a cup of tea.
Mya Walsh waited for a while and saw that Aria Sterling really wasn't there, which allowed her mind to rest a little easier.
Damian Xavier decided to come home for lunch, partly to see if Aria Sterling was there.
