[Isn't four years old a bit too young for kindergarten?]
"She can join the pre-k class, or just spend two years in the junior class." Deng Yuyuan didn't mind this issue.
Tuantuan's social circle was far too narrow. Given Deng Yuyuan's current living situation, there weren't any neighborhood children for her to play with. Sending Tuantuan to kindergarten early meant she could make more good friends sooner.
Deng Yuyuan had also done on-site research. Unlike the kindergartens of later generations that pushed bilingual education and early elementary curriculums, the kindergartens in this era focused more on guiding kids through games and teaching them how to take care of themselves. It was only in the senior class that they taught the children how to write some simple characters and their own names.
It was a perfect place for Tuantuan to play. Later, when Deng Yuyuan secured a nine-to-five job, it would also make it much easier for her to manage childcare.
