By now, most students were growing restless. The break before the Gaokao usually started two days early, which meant today was their last day of school.

He could finally be free of these endless problem sets. Once the exams were over, the world would be his oyster.
He'd be able to coolly whip out his ID at the internet cafe, no longer having to beg the manager for a temporary pass...
