This spell was incredibly powerful.
First, most creatures lacked resistance to Force Field Damage. Unlike spells that dealt Elemental Damage, like Lightning Bolt, this one wouldn't be rendered useless against a creature with the corresponding resistance.
Second was the spell's Teleport characteristic.
In addition to damaging five enemies, the Caster could also Teleport to one of them. This made it quite versatile, whether for a single-target attack, area-of-effect damage, or specifically targeting an enemy Caster.
Witnessing the spell's power, Colin couldn't help but feel a lingering fear.
If that Ghost had unleashed the spell's full potential back then, the five of them would have been much more severely injured.
Of course, even so, Colin didn't think their party would have died at the Ghost's hands.
They still had a huge stash of Potions left when the fight ended. Factoring those in, the battle would have undoubtedly turned into a war of attrition.
