Mountains of bat guano piled up here. However, even this much guano couldn't fill the cave, because the cavern was simply enormous. After Li Xiang walked inside, the extent of his Night Vision Superpower only made him feel his own insignificance.
He had noticed it earlier when he was blocking the entrance. He'd needed far more and larger boulders than usual, using dozens of them just to barely seal it off. Though he had guessed how large the cave was, he was still shocked after coming inside!
If it were just a matter of size, the cave would have eventually filled up over time. But Li Xiang discovered that within the small hills of guano, countless insects were crawling in and out. Clearly, these insects fed on the bat droppings.
'I wonder if the bats eat these insects. If so, wouldn't that create a closed loop?'
