Arjun was fine with this too as long as he could stay out of the eyes of public he was willing to do anything. He had heard of many stories in the past where people got too rich too quickly and started throwing their weight around only to get into some bad eyes after which their good days were pretty much over, He did not want such fate to befall on him.
Next Arjun dialed up Chandra who acted as a local distributor for a lot of local factories and he was the best person to contact in the people Arjun was familiar with to arrange a meeting with the whole sale distributors who handled most of the process in shipping the factory products to the local stores as most stores already had steady contracts with most of them.
Hello?
Hello Chandra Anna, This is Arjun we recently signed a contract for the dairy factory supplies?
Yes Arjun, the supplies for the first week are already on the way and should be at the village by the evening.
Thank you for the timely delivery Anna, but i am not calling you for them.
Then what is it Arjun? Do you need more supplies?
No Anna, The supply would be enough since we don't really have contracts with the wholesale distributors yet and don't really know their supply demands.
Wait you signed the contract without having them already signed?
Arjun knew he should have done this much sooner but last few weeks have been hectic for him and his crew of Bhargav and Lalitha and none of them had remembered about this issue.
Yes Anna, would it be possible to arrange a meeting with the state operators that reside in Vijayawada?
Well only people who supply to the Andhra districts stay in Vijayawada Arjun most of the others live in Hyderabad.
Okay Anna leaving out our district can you contact the rest of them and arrange a meeting? Also please don't mention anything about not having any wholesale distributors signed to them.
Of course i wouldn't Arjun, so when do you want me to arrange the meet?
can we do it two days later? i am currently staying in hotel Manorama so i will talk to these people and rent a hall for a few hours for the meet up. Is that doable?
Yes Arjun, but a normal hotel should do it. There is no need to spend so much on these people.
Yes Anna, I am well aware but my foreign partner stays here too and i don't want it to be a too much of a hassle for him.
Alright let me take care about this, do i call you back on this number?
No Anna, please call my assistant. Arjun gave Bhargav's office number so Chandra could reach him directly instead as Arjun was not really sure where he would be at certain periods in the next two days thanks to the sudden Collector visit to their factory.
Once he was done with the call he enquired with Vladimir about the day's itinerary who shifted the job onto Arjun's shoulders which got the kid thinking once again.
There were not many places to visit in Vijayawada especially in this period of the year where the heat could be felt everywhere. He could not imagine the Russians trekking in mid day so that had to be scheduled for the evening as Vladimir had mentioned he loved to trek in one of their previous discussion. He decided to take them to the nearby Mogalirajapuram caves as at least it would be a bit more humid and cool in the caves.
When he explained his plans to Vladimir he was happy with the scedule since he did not really think Arjun would remember his rant about trekking.
As they waited for everyone of the crew to wake up and get ready Arjun went shopping with Balram to buy some Shawls to present at the launch event.
Even though he was sure Madan or Bhargav would take care of this it was better to be safe than sorry when dealing these sort of people in power who could be humiliated by small things though he did not really know about the local collector since he was transferred by the time Arjun got into big business in his past life.
By the time they returned everyone was already ready and were waiting for them in the hotel lobby after which they had their lunch early in the in hotel restaurant and left to see the caves which were famous for their early south Indian sculptures from fifth century.
They hired a local tour guide once they reached and Arjun had to once again act as the translator relaying what ever the guy spoke to the others in the crew and Vladimir.
By the time they were done it was past three in the noon and most of them were already tired from all the walking and their faces were worth watching when Arjun mentioned the plans to go trekking. Well everyone except Vladimir who alone was excited making the rest of them sigh in defeat as they had to follow their boss irrespective of their wishes.
As Balram was more familiar with the surroundings he took them to a hill which was around eight hundred meters in height, much smaller than the big mountains Vladimir had previously been on but he did not complain as they had already bought a couple of carpets and a carton full of beer to savor once they reached the top.
By the time they reached the peak it was five in the evening, perfect time for the upcoming sunset and all the adults started opening their bottles to drown some drinks as the hike that too in the heat got them sweating buckets. So did Arjun but unfortunately he could only drink water thanks to his age.
Vladimir meanwhile was complaining about Arjun's lack of fitness as according to him he could trek up a five kilometer mountain or run fifteen kilo meters which Arjun highly doubted was fake but still went along with the story since it would make the man proud of himself.
