Hearing the name "Louis," the young man stopped, his brow furrowing slightly. He looked at the female of the Turtle Clan before him. She wore a white robe, had pointed, elf-like ears, and distinct red markings on her face.
He seemed to be trying to recall when he had ever crossed paths with the Turtle Clan.
Yu Zhizhi's expression grew more excited. She took a step forward, but when she saw the young man's expression suddenly turn cold, she quickly stopped in her tracks. "It's me!"
The white robe enveloped the small female's frame. She gestured with her hands. "I'm Zhi Zhi!"
The young man's body visibly stiffened. He stared at the Turtle Clan female before him. Her appearance, her voice, and even the aura about her had all changed. Only her dark, limpid eyes remained the same.
"Ms. Zhi Zhi?" Louis's tone softened.
Yu Zhizhi nodded eagerly. Overcome with emotion, she moved closer again, tightly gripping Louis's arm with both hands.
