Yu Zhizhi went over and sat down. On the coffee table, she saw some letter paper and a quill, its tip already dipped in ink.
"Write a letter for me."
The Lord of Paradise's voice was slightly hoarse. "To Lou. He would love to see your handwriting."
Yu Zhizhi glanced at the man. She hadn't expected him to want to write a letter to Lou.
She picked up the quill, dipped it in the ink, and held it poised, ready to begin.
The letter was very simple, just two sentences.
Yu Zhizhi recognized every word, but when they were strung together, she couldn't make any sense of them.
It seemed like some kind of riddle.
It was something she would never have encountered in her old world.
When she was finished, Yu Zhizhi put down the quill, folded the letter, and slipped it into a manila envelope.
