"Nina, don't leave yet. I need to talk to you."
Only when the whistle blew again did Zane Wyatt reluctantly get ready to go back on the court.
Normally, Nina would have refused to wait—she was dying to go get a grilled sausage—but since she needed to confirm whether he was the one, she nodded.
"Okay."
Zane Wyatt licked his dry lips, his heart hammering in his chest. He gave Nina a silly grin and waved. "I'm heading out."
Nina's expression was conflicted. 'If Zane really is the guy I've been talking to online, then what is all this?'
