If at all, Zorat was expecting someone to run through this rain, he was expecting that person to be Ava, and not Ariana.
But recalling all that had happened, and seeing the highly emotional state of Ariana as she stood there drenched and shivering….
He could understand what might have brought on this sudden action.
"Sure, Ariana….of course you can…." Zorat replied as he stood up from his meditative pose.
"Although….I believe something must be on your mind to bring you all this way here through this heavy downpour." He said, gently guiding her by the shoulder to sit on his futon.
"You must be so cold….you might even catch a cold and get sick, Ariana… here." Zorat added, retrieving a large fabric from the side of his futon and placing it on her shoulders.
"Thank you….But I don't think we can even catch a cold anymore." Ariana replied with a soft smile as she wrapped the fabric around herself.
