At the beginning, Sylvara had wanted to intervene right when the beast had aimed for the first of those adventurers…..
But she caught a look from Caleb…. And that look told her to stay down, even without her hearing him speak.
How he had been able to easily follow the beast's moves as she did came as no small shock to Sylvara, but in her contemplation of whether to listen to him and hold back or save that adventurer….
The deed was already done, and the young man's head was already separated from his body.
Though Sylvara felt a little guilty for allowing this to happen when she had the power to stop it…..
Beyond herself, she cared more about what Caleb thought.
While all the knights were looking on in both awe and horror at the hero's strength, with them strategically pushing back the giant wolf when any of them knights would have long been turned to paste….. Sylvara was busy looking at Caleb.
