Renee Sinclair pulled her bag out from behind her, rummaged through it, and handed a voice recorder to Sonia Quincy.
"It's all on here."
Sonia Quincy frowned. "Just the recording?"
Renee Sinclair replied, "For now, yes. It's been too long. The surveillance footage from both the pawn shop and the Quincy estate has long been overwritten. There's no way to recover it."
"...Fine." Sonia was reluctant, but there was truly no other option at the moment.
Since Renee Sinclair had obtained the recording, Sonia saw no reason to be secretive. She played the entire recorded conversation right there in front of her.
"Yes, yes, of course I remember! That's the only Patek Philippe I've taken in since I opened. I could never forget it."
"Do you remember who the person who sold the watch was?"
"Hmm, I have a vague impression..."
