Hu Yuwan said nothing. She simply dipped her finger in tea and wrote a few words on the table for Hu Tuchao to see.
Hu Tuchao's brow furrowed almost instantly. He stared at Hu Yuwan in disbelief. "What are you trying to do?"
Hu Yuwan pursed her lips. She was naturally filled with trepidation. Even though certain things had not been spoken aloud, the fact that she was already involved was enough to make her heart pound in terror.
But over the years, she had grown accustomed to hiding her emotions, especially from her family.
"We're not doing anything. Can't you figure it out?" Hu Yuwan said.
How could Hu Tuchao possibly sit still? He was on the verge of exploding. He shot up from his seat and paced back and forth around the private room.
