Chloe Sinclair knew this boy.
His name was Henry Archer. He was the boy who had made such a deep impression on Chloe Sinclair during class earlier.
Hearing the boy's words, Chloe Sinclair instinctively glanced at the candy wrapper on the table. She then realized that although the wrapper was crumpled and no longer airtight, she could tell from its lumpy shape that there was a lollipop inside.
"For me?"
Chloe Sinclair was a little surprised.
Henry Archer kept his head down, looking extremely shy. He mumbled an affirmation but didn't dare to meet Chloe Sinclair's gaze.
It was the first time Chloe Sinclair had ever received a gift, but she didn't think anything of it and happily accepted it.
"Thank you."
With that, she pulled a chocolate bar from her pocket—one she always carried for her hypoglycemia. "I have something for you, too."
The boy seemed completely flustered and hesitant to take the chocolate.
