Hearing this, Shirley Thorne immediately set down her teacup. Her disappointed expression brightened with surprise, and she sat up straight.
"I'm listening."
Ethan Grant let out a soft chuckle and lowered his gaze. "It's nothing major. We've just narrowed the scope."
"But that *is* a success!"
Shirley Thorne refused to let the great billionaire belittle himself, and she certainly wouldn't let him look so dejected.
'Although, a dejected billionaire is still ridiculously handsome!'

'Fangirling right now feels a little inappropriate.'
She cleared her throat, stood up to pour Ethan Grant a cup of green tea, and said encouragingly, "Go ahead, Mr. Grant. I'm all ears, even if it's just one sentence!"
Ethan Grant accepted the cup and took a sip. A playful glint appeared in his eyes as he said, "You said it."
Shirley Thorne nodded. "Yep, I said it!"
And then...
...he really did say only one sentence.
Shirley Thorne was speechless.
