Just as the young woman was about to be dragged away, a child-like voice came from the house.
"You bad guys, let go of Liu Xin!" A pretty little girl, no more than six or seven years old, rushed out of the house and ran over angrily. Her features were delicate and her cheeks were rosy, making her look like the beloved daughter of a high-ranking official.
But her clothes were nothing like an official's daughter's; she was dressed in tattered sackcloth. When she rushed out of the hut, the faces of the people kneeling on the ground turned pale, clearly not expecting the little girl to appear.
