Searching within the Heaven-Swallowing Python's territory, Lin Yun finally discovered the Ghost Fruit in the central region, hidden inside the trunk of a towering, ancient tree. He also found a triangular shard made of some unknown material.
'What is this…?' Lin Yun had no idea what the shard was, but he could feel a terrifying power emanating from it.
Unsure of what it was, Lin Yun decided it was better to be safe than sorry and tried to store it in his Space Ring. To his surprise, the shard couldn't be stored in the Space Ring at all.
It was as if the two repelled each other. No matter how many times Lin Yun tried, he couldn't get the shard into his Space Ring.
'It can't even be contained by a Space Ring?' Lin Yun wondered. This only strengthened his conviction that the shard was something extraordinary.
Since he couldn't store it away, Lin Yun had no choice but to tuck it into his robes. Fortunately, the shard wasn't very large.
