"Who said I'd leave any trace of what I'm planning?" he asked, a chilling smile spreading across his face.
The driver tightened his grip on the steering wheel before speaking cautiously.
"Boss… I hope you're not planning to kidnap him or do something reckless."
Owen scoffed. "How am I supposed to get to him?" he sneered. "Matteo keeps him locked away like a precious treasure, surrounded by bodyguards every second of the day."
A dark smile slowly spread across his face. "But sooner or later…" he murmured, "…Matteo will leave for work."
He leaned back against the leather seat, his eyes turning cold. "Imagine him coming home… only to find Adrian's corpse waiting for him."
The bodyguard's blood ran cold. He slowly turned to stare at Owen, unable to hide the shock on his face. "Boss…" he said quietly. "What exactly are you planning?"
Owen leaned forward, his eyes burning with a dangerous obsession as he gripped the back of the passenger seat.
