Synopsis
PLEASE READ SYNOPSIS BEFORE CONTINUING!!! He grew up loving Pokémon. The adventure. The battles. The bonds. But in his world, they were nothing more than fiction. Until a certain god answered his wish. In a civilization where technology has surpassed imagination, where artificial intelligence governs cities and corporations rival nations, there is no room for fantasy. With a divine Arc Phone in hand, he brings Pokémon to a world that has never known them. To some, they are weapons. To others, scientific miracles. To corporations, untapped profit. But to him, they are partners. And he will ensure that every Pokémon he sells forms a bond worthy of its trust. As corporations chase power, governments seek control, and the ambitious look for new weapons, he holds to a single goal: To let others experience the same wonder he once felt as a child. This time, the magic of childhood won't stay fiction. It will change the world. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you for considering giving this Fic a chance. Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - The First Catch

I jolted awake, breath a little heavy.

What the hell was that?!

I swear Arceus could've just opened a portal or something...

Regardless, I was in an unfamiliar room. There was a desk, in front of a window letting the sunlight shine through.

But something was wrong...

"WHERE ARE MY POSTERS?!"

My posters. My cards. My figures. They were gone. All of it was gone.

"Couldn't I at least bring those?" I said, sobbing.

On a more serious note, the room was pretty dull without my merch. There was no pizzazz or flair. Nothing that made this room MINE.

I quickly grew bored of the boring bedroom, leaving to explore the rest of the house I'd be living in.

The door led to a small hallway. Turning to the left, there were three doors. A laundry room on the left, a bathroom on the right, and a guest room straight ahead.

Turning around, there were the stairs, and three more doors. A small kitchen and dining room, as well as more guest rooms, were there.

Weird placement for the kitchen if you ask me.

But there wasn't really much else I was interested in at the moment.

I made my way to the stairs, walking down as they faintly creaked. And these stairs led to a store.

What the- I already have a store?

There was a customer bathroom to the left of the stairs, and a counter entrance to the right. It was fairly big, all things considered. Going behind the counter, I saw multiple shelves, and a door leading to a storage room.

Pretty big too...

There was a buzzing in my pocket. I reached in my pocket, feeling a very... interesting shape.

"That's right... the Arc Phone"

I pulled out the phone, turning it on. There was a notification, in the messages app?

I managed to get in, inputting my password to my old phone. It looked like an iPhone home screen. Now that I looked, there were a lot of familiar apps. Settings, notes, even a translator.

Is that an app store?

I made my way to the message app, seeing a text from...

"Arceus?"

The llama had texted me, giving me some basic info about this world and my current life. This world was quite similar to my old one, but technology was much better. But what interested me more, was why I had a store under my home.

I continued to read the text, seeking more answers.

Arceus had used his power to make a home and store for me, along with permits and other legal documents, and some money to get me going. Unfortunately, it said I would need to figure out the rest on my own.

Great. I'm sure this will go well.

At least my name was the same on my ID.

Darion Stone.

I close the app, opting to look through the arc phone some more. I spot a red icon with a white poke-ball outline, and next to it was a blue variant. Clicking on both revealed they were a PC and mart of sorts.

They were pretty straightforward, Pokémon storage, and a Mart. The mart held a lot of items I recognized. Potions, Poke-balls, etc. And they required Money.

Cool, so...

Where are the Pokémon?

Ding!

The arc phone closed the Mart app, quickly moving the screen opening an app called: Pokémon Safari. Its icon was a Pikachu head wearing a safari hat.

There was a tutorial, like seen in lots of mobile games, guided by a Pikachu in a safari outfit.

This app is where the magic happens apparently. Through points I earn from selling Pokémon, I can transport myself to habitats. Pocket dimensions where Pokémon reside.

I have to catch them myself?

It was...

An interesting app to say the least. I was honestly hoping I could buy them with points or something. But, beggars can't be choosers. Though on the bright side, I got a free 1,000 pts. It was enough for two level 1 habitats.

Doesn't this mean it'll take a while before I can get my own?

It was unfortunate, but I couldn't spend my early points on just my own partner.

Guess, I should try it out. But where would I get poke-balls?

Ding!

A message pop up appeared on screen.

{When entering a level 1 habitat, 5 free poke-balls will be given.}

Only 5?

I mean, it was better than nothing. But without a Pokémon of my own to battle, it would be more difficult. I shouldn't let my guard down, just because it's level 1.

I searched through the level 1 habitats. Plains, forests, deserts, etc.

Guess the level only determines what kind of Pokémon appear.

I chose the Forest.

Why?

Because of the Pokémon list. Each habitat had a list of what Pokémon appear. They were silhouettes, but when you're a Pokémon nerd like me, that hardly matters.

I've already seen a Jigglypuff from above, you can't trick me.

And guess what silhouettes I saw.

Pikachu and Eevee.

They were perfect. Pikachu could work as a mascot, his effectiveness already proven in my world. And Eevee, it was the perfect first Pokémon, even better than the starters.

First, it was cuter than the Ratattas and Pidgeys. And most importantly, it didn't have the same elemental powers as the starters, being Normal type. So, it wasn't as dangerous.

It was a given that, before advertising Pokémon battles, we would need to first hook the people on them as pets.

Who knows how they'd react to a lizard that breathes fire.

That side of Pokémon would have to wait. So, I pressed enter on the habitat select screen.

Space in front of me shattered like glass, revealing a rift of sorts. I honestly stood there stunned for a few seconds before jumping in, excited like a kid in Toys R Us.

On the other side, there was-

Trees. In every direction. They were towering over the ground, like a natural shield from the sun. Though they couldn't stop sunlight from peeking through the canopy.

I began to explore my surroundings, eager to find my objective.

Then I heard it-

It sounded like a bunch of birds.

I looked, curious to see what my first Pokémon sighting would be.

A flock of birds was flying overhead, weaving through the trees. They were primarily, Black and Brown in color, and looked like they had a bad attitude.

Spearow. A flock of them, and at the head was a large Fearow.

I was frozen, seeing them fly past me.

"They're real..."

I shook my head, forcing myself out of my stupor. I had some Pokémon to find.

I looked everywhere I could. Searched under every rock, behind every bush and log. But there was no sign of either Pikachu or Eevee.

"Could I get a Hint!?" I shout to no one in particular.

Ding!

There was a message on the arc phone.

{Use 250 points for POKE-RADAR?}

"Yes!"

I pressed yes faster than a flying Garchomp.

{Which Pokémon would you like to find?}

I typed in Pikachu as quickly as possible. There was no thought behind the action. There was no time to waste.

{Beginning scan...}

A basic radar appeared, showing a Pikachu silhouette in the top right corner, but nothing else appeared.

Still gotta run around and search.

Exploration was starting to lose its appeal. How in the world do elementary age children do this for a living? Though, our conditions weren't the same.

I continued walking around the forest, spotting more Pokémon running around. Rattatta, Pidgey, Caterpie, Weedle, A DAMN ODDISH. I was seeing everything except the things I wanted to see-

[Eevoi!]

Any Pokémon fan would know that cry anywhere. I ran, following the cry, past the trees.

There!

It was a clearing, by a river. And there they were, a pack of Eevee.

I ducked behind the bushes. I need to play it safe, and throw the balls from here. Hopefully, I can catch 4. That's if Poke-balls don't break when they fail, though I doubt they do.

I press the icon showing a poke-ball, pressing it four times, summoning them on the ground next to me. I readied my arm, and...

Now!

The ball flew through the air and hit an Eevee. But I didn't wait, throwing three more. The four poke-balls hit their mark, falling to the ground twitching.

The pack noticed something was wrong and fled. But I was too focused on the ones in the balls.

I waited with bated breath as I watched them wiggle.

1.

2.

3.

Ding!

Ding!

Ding!

[Eevoi!]

An Eevee escaped, quickly running away towards the other Eevee. But, it was ok, I caught three.

Ding!

{Caught 3 (Eevee). Received 150 points}

"LESSGO!"

I finally caught Eevee -- three of them, at that.

Now, to find a damn Pikachu...
