Ais, Bell, Tiona, Tione, and Zaria all began an assault on Ceraunius, using everything they could in attempts to impress him. Though they had this boost, they were still well, weak by comparison to him. So they opted to go for improving little by little, listening to the pointers he gave, and making corrections on the fly.
However great Ceraunius was at giving pointers, he wasn't the only thing leading the five kids' desire to improve. There were the onlookers cheering them on, which helped them substantially. Then there was unique competitiveness between children, and friendly rivalry between friends, uniquely creating a dynamic for them all to improve. Lastly, twins… Tiona & Tione were twins, just like Bell & Zaria were, so there was another boost in productivity through a bond that others simply will never have.
Off to the side, Maris was exhaustedly studying the books Ceraunius brought back with him. She'd been one of the members who were asked to go out on patrol later, so she wasn't training with Ceraunius. Instead she decided to train her mind, reading the details of how the falna works. Though she did this, she was still getting distracted by the ongoing match, getting a little jealous of the others.
"Meowsterful!" Chloe exclaimed, with a smile. "Like that, and then like meowat." She continued. "Awe yes, such a cute butt." Then came a chop. "Meow… That hurt."
"Don't think about touching our little brother. It's so lewd." Ryuu blushed, super hard, now confused how she managed to touch Chloe, even if it was only a quick chop.
"I meown't!" Chloe meowed out.
"Good."
The five kids' training match with Ceraunius was coming to an end… Everyone could see it. Ais wind barrier began flickering, and faltering. A clear indication she was running low on mind. Ultimately, Ais stopped moving, sweating buckets, and breathing hard, as her vision started wobbling. Then falling to her knees, her magic vanished.
"Good job, all of you." Ceraunius said with a smile. Blitzing over to Ais, picking her up before she fell to the ground.
The other four were so sweaty it was clear that a bath was in order. Yet, despite the clear exhaustion, they all smiled.
"That was fun." Bell said grinning ear to ear.
"Yeah, Ais' magic is so cool." Tiona smiled in agreement.
"I'm all sticky now, big brother can we take a bath now?" Zaria asked, wiping the sweat from her brow, yet more just replaced it.
"Oh ho, big brother's going to take a bath with us!?" Tione grinned.
"I think I can find the time to join you in the bath." Ceraunius chuckled. "So long as you're not worried about the wait for lunch."
"You've been taking baths alone, that's not fair to you or big sister." Zaria said, then pointed at Ceraunius. "It's bath time!"
"Well you heard her, Gamelia. It's bath time." Ceraunius chuckled.
"About time." Gamelia said, crossing her arms, and pouted… then started giggling. "I'm sure after having daily family baths, it's been a struggle for her to adjust."
With the addition of Ceraunius in the bath this time around, Ryuu was practically over the moon that, she wasn't sweaty, and could ignore the bath this time, then… She was suddenly wrapped up in Astraea's hug.
"What's wrong, Ryuu? You didn't think you were getting out of familia bath time, did you?" Astraea giggled. "I was so looking forward to washing your hair."
"Eh… EHH! B-b-b-but Ceraunius…" Ryuu panicked, yet unable to escape her goddess's ultimate attack.
"Hey, big sis Ryuu!" Zaria shouted out, standing proud, and pointing at Ryuu. "Big brother is fine. He's super nice, don't be rude."
"Eh!? I'm rude?" Ryuu panicked even more, now having a war going on in her head.
"Yes. It's rude, not to mention weird to think of big brother in a lewd way." Zaria replied, really bringing the argument home.
"But, I'm not…"
"Liar! Big brother's not for lewding!" Zaria shouted back.
The back and forth ended with a few laughs, and the discussion moved to the bath where Zaria was enjoying Ceraunius washing her hair. Once all the scrubbing was over for everyone, they sat in the giant tub, and rested… Everyone quickly realized why Ceraunius was harmless in the bath, he was more relaxed than anyone else.
"Pfft, it's like he doesn't even care." Noin blinked.
"Right, that's because big sister is the only one he loves in a lewd way." Zaria smiled, snuggling up with that same brother, and Bell on Ceraunius' other side.
"I can see that, but it makes me wonder…" Kaguya started.
Gamelia looked at Kaguya and smiled. "Before, we weren't family yet. Now that we are, family baths are fine." She explained, now with Ais cozied up to her. "Families should be close. And there's nothing closer than bathing together."
Astraea giggled, enjoying the slight change that allowed her to hold her cute Ryuu more easily. "I'm fine with it. It's different, but not bad." She said with a smile that simply ended the debate.
"Alright, moving on." Alise said, smiling, and far less worried about herself, she stood up. "We are set to fight a war game with the Loki familia. The reason for doing so is to bring Ais into the familia officially. Are there any complaints about this?" She asked, knowing there wouldn't be, and smirked. "Good, then for the next two months, we will be training with great ferocity. And we will win, for Ais' smile, for justice."
"Sounds like it will be a rough fight, they have 3 members at level 6, right?" Asta asked.
"Yeah! They have; Riveria the Nine-Hell, Gareth the Elgarm, and Finn the Braver." Lyra quickly raddled off.
"Exactly right. So, Lyra, will you be alright?" Alise asked.
"Of course I will. Maybe he'll be knocked down a peg or two, and repent for refusing my proposals all those times. I can flip it this time." Lyra answered, snickering mischievously.
"And you Asta?"
"Yeah, I like Gareth, he's cool, but… he lets Finn walk all over him, so he's not as likeable as he could be."
"And then… Celty, Ryuu, will you be able to fight Riveria?"
"I just got 6 months worth of muscle viewing, so I'll be fine." Celty laughed.
"I… She's the princess, but she did… I… I can do it. Even a princess shouldn't be mean to the spirits." Ryuu answered, timidly, yet also showing that her principles were strong.
