This tension is killing me.
I let out a deep sigh.
"Haah.."
See the situation I'm in right now feels weird. I've never been fought over like.. whatever this is.
Hyun is on my right and Hanna on my left. And me? I'm caged in by both of them, their shoulders touching mine.
There's no words spoken but it's clear through the small glares they share, they want the other to back off.
Awkward..
What the hell am i supposed to do in this situation. I've never been fought over. Ever!!
Big ego boost though.
Still, it's annoying. We've all only been together for a day or so and their acting if their my best friend. I dont even know their last names. Though I guess I've also gotten more comfortable around them? But, their childish rivalry is causing us to be slower in the hunt for supplies.
I slip out away from them and make some distance as I walk ahead.
"Let's get backpacks first then food."
"I think backpacks are at the back, but we have mine and yours with us already."
"Oh,right let's just get food and water."
The three of us search through the shelfs and in the end finding enough canned food for the seven us to survive for 2 weeks,if we ration properly.
"Alex! can I grab chocolate too!"
"You found some?"
"Yeah! The giant bars."
"Cool, grab some then."
She grabs the whole box dumping them into her bag with a cheeky smirk.
Weirdo.
I check my bag again, my skateboard is taking too much space up, but I dont want leave it behind either. In the end I take it out and slowly cruise around. I put my bag to my front opening it wide. I use my arm to swipe all the water bottles from the shelf into my bag while gliding on my board. Heh. Look at me go.
Hyun glances at me looking impressed by my efficiency. Hehe. It's not that big of a deal.
"Hey Alex watch where your-"
SMACK
"going... "
"Ouch-!"
"Idiot."
Hanna sighs while Hyun peels me away from the shelf I rode into.
"..." Guess I had that coming.
Hanna walks over.
"Did you get hurt?"
"No, the water bottles cushioned me."
"Good. Here." She kicks my board back to me and I sheepishly stop it and get back on.
"Thanks." I mumble, can't help but feel embarrassed.
Hyun picks up the few bottles I dropped in my collision then puts them back in my bag. I mumble another thanks then roll away, slower this time.

"And that's about it."
"We sure got alot of stuff." I rummage through Hanna's bag, seeing all the ranges of food she got, most good enough for us to store for a while.
Hyun later joins me and Hanna sitting on the floor with packs of ramen.
"That's alot." Hanna helps him carry it. "Think we can eat this?"
"If we can find a way to boil water."
Hyun grabs a pot and puts all the ramen packs in there. He then meets my gaze.
"We can use Chase's lighter to start a fire and boil water in the pot? Smart thinking Hyun."
Hanna looks at both of us in pure confusion. "How did you- Nevermind."
I check my phone. Half an hour until we meet at the entrance.
"We should start packing our stuff up now."
"Alright, I'll take the food you get water."
"Yeah, and Hyun carry anything extra." He nods and helps Hanna pack the food then picks up the two rackets. I stuff the water bottles back in my bag not after drinking one then replacing it with another.
"Hey give me one aswell."
"Here, dont whine you big baby." I toss her a bottle then one to Hyun aswell, replacing those bottles with new ones in my bag.
"Should we also eat aswell.. we can't carry all these shelfs. Might aswell not let it go to waste."
"Yeah alright, dont go overboard. Can't have you vomiting all over the place."
"Yeah yeah." Her voice is muffled with chocolates.
She already left her bag on the floor to move around quicker. Soon after Hyun joins her eating, leaving his stuff next to her bag.
I put my bag and board down next to their stuff then join them too.
"Alex try this!"
"Ok-? Hmph?!"
She shoves a brownie in my mouth.
I cough.
"Why did you-!! Oh.. that tastes good."
I grab another one, giving into my hunger I tried suppressing.
"It's good isn't it?"
I nod, my mouth also stuffed now.
I wash down the brownies with some water, glancing over at Hyun from the side of my eye.
"PFT!"
I spit out my water and burst into a fit of laughs. Hyun stops mid bite into his chocolate bar like a startled cat, his face already covered in chocolate.
Hanna looks over.
"What's wrong? Oh my God." She joins my laughter. "Never thought I'd see tough guy's face over here covered in chocolate!!"
He shyly looks away.
"You such a child." I laugh softly, coming down from laughing fit before as I mockingly pat his back.
"Aw big guy here is shy." Hanna coos making her self laugh harder.
He stays looking away, holding his chocolate protectively to his chest.
A shriek stops all of us.
"Did you-?"
"Yeah I did. Sounded like it came from the front." I swallow another brownie and chug the rest of my water down.
"Yunjin and Ash.."
"We need to go. Now."
She nods and goes to grab her stuff. Though Hyun beats us both to it, holding our bags out for us. Hanna takes her bag and he keeps mine, kicking my board to me instead and passing me a racket.
"Right. I'll go ahead."
"Be careful, idiot."
"Uh huh."
