Ash mumbles wanting to help but barely holding her self up.
"Did that just happen..?"
Hanna blinks blankly at the helicopter descending.
"I think so.."
Yunjins eyes are wide never leaving the helicopter.
The situation gets worse, the sound of the crash attracted zombies closer to the school making no way out. I won't be surprised if they break down the door from hearing all the noise we're making aswell.
"It really did happen.. I knew it! Were all going to die!!"
Sieun laughs in a dazed state not his shy self anymore.
Everyone looks down, struggling to process this blow physically and mentally. Heck even Hyun's eyes were shaking.
Breathe, I need to breathe.
There we go Alex breathe. One breath then another, in and out. Figure a plan like always and survive. Huh? Survive? What do I need to survive for?
Is this just human nature to want to live even if its for nothing? But then again I no longer have to face my mother and worry about my sister coming back.
You know what? This apocalypse is mine and I'm living it how I want. Free and myself. No more overthinking, no more selfishness, no more locking my self out, no more past me. I'm going to survive to find a reason to live and have fun, more fun than I could have ever had before yesterday.
I'll live for the the thrill.

"Kids.. Hanna.. Alexandra.. I'm back.."
The voice comes from behind the roof door.
Welp there goes my confidence..
Do the others hear it too?
They look terrified, guess that answers my question.
"Mr Taylor?"
Hanna stammers.
A low laugh.
"Miss me my dear Hanna?"
His voice sounds deformed and raspy, like it's him but not him?
"You died though?!"
"I'd always come back to discipline naughty girls.. Hanna, especially Alexandra.."
I go stand infront of everyone knife in my pocket ready. Chase holding my shoulder ready to pull me back if needed.
"Hey kids want a gift?"
"No, what?" He cuts me off.
"Great, enjoy."
He laughs and starts breaking down the door, the sound attracting the zombies that came from the crashed helicopter.
"Oh this brings deja vu!!"
He laughs as he barges into the door repeatedly.
"Shit. What do we do now!?" Sweat beads form on Chase's forehead. "Alex! What do we do!? Alex!"
He looks at me, frantic and raw panic, grip tighting.
"We.. We need to leave, now."
I turn back to the others grabbing my bag on me, tighting it. Then throw my fire at the door.
"Throw yours aswell."
The fire piles up at the door, a large flame emerging, it should hold back the zombies is they break in hopefully.
"Will that really do anything?"
"It will, trust me Chase."
He sighs then nods.
"Wait. We're on the roof there is no where to run to!?"
Ash looks at me desperately, confused.
"We go down of course."
"Are you telling us to jump!? That's suicide Alex!!"
Yunjin argues.
"No we slide."
"Slide?"
Chase looks ready to do whatever I say.
"Down the pipe, I'll go first. Chase or Hyun carry Hanna's bag and follow me."
Hyun puts Hanna's bag on and keeps Sieun near him.
"Right, I'll go first just follow my lead and hurry."
I go to the ledge and look at the pipe.
Mann I know I was going to do things for the thrill but this is terrifying. Like it's so high up.
The door bangs again as if telling me to hurry up and go.
Alright then..
I grip the pipe, shifting my feet on the wall, hands on the pipe and my back to the wind, my bag weighing me down a bit, not to mention my skateboard could fall out.
I sigh then slide down, not too fast but not to slow, controlled as I reach the bottom, feet on the ground. No zombies in sight yet. There's a SUV here aswell, perfect for cover, for now.
Yunjin slides down next holding her breath as she slides down trusting I'll catch her.
"Ahh Alex you better catch me!!"
"Got you, brat."
I catch her as she practically clings to me then push her off behind the SUV.
"Hey! But.. thanks.. I guess.. "
Her face turns light pink briefly.
"Yeah sure. Stay quiet now and look out for zombies."
"Got it!"
Ash slides down next then Hanna who was more reluctant to come down, probably the shock of hearing Mr Twat again.
Us girls are down just the guys now.
Sieun comes next stiffly, back to his shy self. I help him make the last jump.
"Thanks Alex."
"No problem."
"Hey why aren't the other two coming?"
Ash points out.
"Aw did Chase chicken out."
Yunjin mocks.
"Probably."
Ash and Yunjin snicker together.
This is wrong, they should be down by now but we can't even see them near the edge. Did the door break already?
"Go go go!!"
Chase slides down fast with Hyun right behind, Chase panicked and Hyun sweating as they slide down.
"Hahh! Zombies.. fire.. Mr Twat.. run..!"
He pants out.
"Zombies on fire?They broke it down already? Mr Twat coming? And we run?"
"Yeah."
He sighs holding my shoulder for support.
"Lets not stick around to see...Can anyone drive here?"
"What the need?"
Yunjin ask then her eyes dart to the SUV "Hm? Oh..Ohhh..OH!"
Ash nods mockingly.
"Took you a while Yun"
"I'm slow ok!"
"We know."
Chase teases.
Hyun raises his hand a bit.
"You can drive?"
He nods at me.
"We're sorted then."
We all go in I take front passenger Hyun driving and the others in the back. Hyun passes Hanna's bag back to her and I keep my bag in my lap.
"Seat belts?"
Sieun asks.
"I guess."
Yunjin sighs trying to pull her seat belt but it gets jams then pulls harder. She grumbles then pulls more making the seat belt fling back to hit her face.
"Ow!" She covers her nose, it being red and sore. "Screw seat belts."
The car bursts out into laughter even Hyun smiled.
"How do you even manage that Yun?!"
Ash says between laughs.
"I don't think it likes you Yunjin."
Chase laughs.
"Shut up." She mumbles between her hands making us laugh harder.
"That's Yunjin for you."
I chuckle.

Hyun taps my shoulder.
"Hm?"
He points outside where zombies are running out the door some jumping off the roof. "Oh what the hell?!"
A zombies hand slams against the window where Hanna is, startling everyone.
"It so close!"
Ash leans away from it.
"Hyun Drive!"
I stay on edge.
He nods and starts the engine.
"Step on it dude!"
Chase holds his seat from the back.
Hyun nods.
"Woahh!"
Yunjin holds the door handle to keep steady with this high speed.
I hold the handle above my head as Hyun focuses avoiding the debri from the crash, fire and zombies. My bag bouncing on my lap.
We get out of our school grounds and into the main road, zombies flooded all over the side walks and road.
"Where are we even going!"
Hanna shouts over the chaos.
"Hey Hyun slow down!!"
Ash says while being crushed between Yunjin and Hanna.
He sighs and nods slowing down to 50mph.
"So where we heading now?"
Hanna asks again smoothing her hair out.
"Let's go to the airport."
"Huh? Why the airport?"
Chase looks at me confused.
"We can try and find help there, find out if this virus has spread that far or it's only in our area. Also airports have shops right?"
"That's my Alexiee, so smart."
Ash boasts with a giggle.
I flash her a small smile.
"Is that ok to go?"
"Hey I see no faults in that plan."
Chase gives a thumbs up.
Yunjin sighs. "Why do you come up with all the good ideas. " She says with grudging agreement.
"Just being logical."
"Right."
Hanna nods.
"Yeah we can get food, water and definitely new clothes. I am not running around in my uniform any longer."
She tugs at her skirt, clearly uncomfortable with it.
"Along as we're safe." Sieun mumbles.
Hyun nods.
"Let's get to that airport then."
